it'll make frontpage in all newspapers, all TV stations will interview allthe important people with 2 cents worth of sharing their wisdom and everyone will sing the same tune of 'campak dia ke laut.'
Miss Ketchup! I haven't heard this one yet. I always respect Pink for her well written songs. I love "stupid girl", :). She made a fine mockery of Nicole, Paris and Lindsay. I don't think there are any artists in Malaysia yang berani criticize the PM(though he deserved to be criticized more than ampu all the time). The sad thing about America is that all that Pink sings about is not an exaggeration. I see homeless people everyday on my walk to my bakery. I see them asking, begging for money everytime I take my train--yet I wonder, we're taxed almost 30% of our income--where did all the money go? Not to make it better for the poor here, for sure. I hope Malaysia won't turn out that way one day.
a)campak ke laut b)sula c)claim he/she blew up some modowww and campak jail terus w/out trial d)all of the above.
kesimpulan: sape suruh pandai2 menentang gomen. padan muka. dok diam2. nak kreatip terlebih toksah dok mesia.
pejoh,
kahkahkahkahkah!!! ko memamg sewel...
amy,
yeah, now that we're overseas and because farid has pr, he still has to pay u.s. taxes. what a load of bull. and indirectly we're funding their fucking self-made atrocies in iraq. "our war" konon. backyard sendri tak jaga, negara orang nak kecoh.
now m'sia, the monster operates in a whole diff way...
Hold on there...what the heck?!! Don't tell me that Farid still needs to pay US taxes because he's a PR. Damn!! We're now PR too. Shit!! That's so screwed! Nasib baik I tai-tai, if not we've to pay more tax.
Yeah..I agree, M'sia is one whole different monster altogether. I don't know who can be trusted anymore. At least in US, anyone with an IQ should do better than W.
Btw, I've moved to Philly since last March. No longer in DC. Come and visit lah! One consolation though..tax free shopping!! On clothes, shoes, cosmetics etc etc. -amai-
Wah so nice la you tai-tais...bila la sampai masa aku nanti? The freaking tunnel is so black that no light can ever be seen!
To some extend I envy you folks coz you can see M'sia with such different perspectives. Me living here still don't see the bad and the ugly...hear it, read it on the blog, but still kinda blind to it...may be ignorance is really bliss, or I am in that category yg tak rasa the full impact?!
But you know to some extend I do feel a sense of national agenda in terms of capability building for the nation (corporate env). I was just kinda offered an opportunity last nite to partake in this national agenda...I mean if it really takes off how cool is this - to make such an impact...but I guess you would ask me who would feel the impact - sad to say la it would probably be the top 1% of Bumi yuppies, and this capability is for the GLCs.
Hmm...am I really making a change here? May be not to a typical idealist, but where I am sitting...it's an amazing opportunity. I have to see it positively...the idealist me within my reality...does this make sense?
sounds like a great opportunity to make however small/big a difference. at the end of the day, try hardest to keep your integrity + beliefs intact coz when youre playing with the big 'boys'... thats when it gets all muddy.
either way, kalau kau dah kaya lepas makan duit rakyat, jangan lupe kasi aku a piece of that pie!!! muhahahahahaha!!
shopper mom, me? thinking blog? you crazy izzit??? somemore you say my blog farny. aiyo die. pressure maaah... pressure!!!
there was a time when aku cakap, 'lantaklah kau nak buat apa pun. boleh pi jahanam becoz i ain't gonna vote anymore.' am so fed up with the way things are going right now. but since becoming a mother, i fear the kind of future and whatever that will be lacking in ti... for my daughter's sake. and i ain't saying this for the sake of saying things.
even national service kita. look at it man... kids are dying... nak set-up program tu pun tak buat betul-betul. yang tahu nak saman bebudak yang tak show up. the whole damn concept of national service pun macam jubur dia! konon nak terapkan nilai-nilai murni and moral pada youths. what the fudge is that???
islam hadhari is another thing... siap keluar paper lagi pak lah bagi warning kat orang yang question the concept of islam hadhari. bodoh... suka hati aku lah nak ikut ke tak! org2 macam dia ni lah bagi orang yang nak buat baik kat dunia ni dosa sebab ngumpat kebodohan dia...
this is what i love about you -- such passion and conviction and with words like jubur and jahanam spewing out of your lil mouth... exactly the reason why i soooo can relate to you :)
jokes aside, i too worry about malaysia. and since i'm outside looking in, with almost a bird's eye view of the whole situation, it gets even scarier. tengok aje, tak boleh nak buat ape2. and when i read blogs like malaysiakini and kawan2 yang sewaktu dengannya (i.e. all the penipu's according to the present govt), lagi la sakit hati.
i just wish tv3 and 90% of m'sian media are not under govt's thumb... *sigh*
p/s eh, i like you with your tudung on. sweeeeeeeet :) that is if you keep your mouth shut!! hahahaha!!!
