okay someone puhleeeseee explain this to me now -- why the hell is GNOME not pronounced 'je-nome'...?!!! why is it only 'nome?' where did that G disappear to? what, was the G soooo unimportant that she has to be left out of the word's pronounciation?! gorilla is no 'o-rilla' and giraffe certainly ain't 'ee-raffe' so who pandai-pandai silenced the damned G?!and the more important question is, what the hell are gnomes anyway? are they santa's lil bastards or just some unemployed midgets standing around scaring off the neighborhood kids?!

how doth one pronounce gnat (gerrr-nat?), gnaw (gerrrrrr-naw?), gnash (gerrr-nash) (hmm remember him gnasher from that one comic book from long gone years?), and gnu (gerrr-new?) ...?
there's also this word genome and it's got nothing to do with gnomes.

btw, there are only TWO celebrities who frequent the island -- the tua kerepot (ala je-nome) michael douglas and his hot wife cat zeta jones. his mom is a bermudian so they have a house here on the island. katanya dekat ngan my house tapi sampai hari ni batang idung pun tak nampak!!
